Backlink Indexing ToolTrackbacks give you information about your website and its pages being mentioned on other websites.
It happens mostly when you publish valuable content both on your blog and in such article directories as: Ezinearticles, Articlebase or Goarticles and other ones with links back to your website. Such articles are then republished by others.
It is a great, natural way of getting more backlinks!

Value of indexing
Such backlinks matter, however, if the pages they are part of get indexed. Otherwise they are simply worthless.

There are several ways to help index those pages. Long and time-consuming method envolves grabbing their RSS feeds submitting them to RSS directories, pinging them and socialbookmarking them. There is, however, an easier way.

Indexing Tool
There is a plugin which I use on my niche sites: blogs where I have Google Adsense ads and similar ones. What the plugin does is it automatically checks your chosen websites where your backlinks are, to find out if they are indexed.

To take full advantage of trackbacks and make the indexing process faster, indexing plugin comes together with trackback plugin. It scans your whole website searching for the trackbacks. Indexing tool will then check if the websites with your backlinks are indexed. You can help to index those backlinks faster by allowing displaying them on your website. Indexing tool will make sure that whenever any of those other pages get indexed the trackback will be automatically deleted from being displayed on your website.

How it can help your website
Using indexing and trackback plugins, you will get a lot of indexed backlinks. They are one-way juicy backlinks. The most important thing is that it happens automatically. You set it up once and it works in the background of your website. It is a huge leverage of time and money.

I’ve been seeing Trackbacks in many blogs that I’ve visited. But I’ve never thought that they are so important. Thanks so much for the info.

    Hi Justyna
Like the first commet, I’ve never thought much about the vpower of Trackbacks.

I try and keep plugins down to as few as possible but I may take a look at the ” indexing and trackback plugins”.

    Thanks Justyna

      Hi Keith,

I’m testing the plugins and I like that they are super easy to use, it takes little time to configure them and the results are getting better!

    Hi,

I tried to install the trackback plugin but I do not see the Trackback plugin under “settings” after I activate it
Any idea on why this will happen?

      Hi Gary,

Trackback plugin doesn’t display in the settings. The plugin works only in the background (sort of). You use it by pasting this URL: http://yourdomain.com/trackbackfeed into your browser to generate the trackbackfeed. (Change yourdomain.com into your own domain name).

      I hope that helps.

    Hi Justyna,

    Thanks for the reply.
As you said if I enter http://yourdomain.com/trackbackfeed
I do see all my trackbacks. However my problem is slightly different –

Actually if you look at the video
    http://indexingtool.com/trackback-plugin-video/
at 2:52 minutes he shows under “settings” there is an “Indexing Tool” option. I do not get that option after I activate the plugin.

    Thanks.

      Hi Gary,

Indexing tool option does not come with trackback plugin. It appears after installing the indexing tool (another plugin).

Do you have both of the plugins installed or just one of them?

    Hi,

I have installed only the “trackback feed” plugin. May be I should install the indexing plugin as well and try it out. I will update you after that.

    Thanks.
